Create a privacy screen or windbreak in record time with Willow Hybrids!
Hybrid willows make wonderful hedges. They grow and fill in quickly, as the first five years is
when they exhibit the fastest growth. They provide privacy from the neighbors and are great as
a windbreak. Willows are extremely hardy and can grow in less than ideal conditions.
If you want your hybrid willows to grow fast, give them plenty of water. Willow trees are hardy
throughout the United States and parts of Canada. If you have boggy soil, willows will help dry
the land out. They reach a height of 35 to 45 feet tall when planted in a hedge. Planted alone,
they can grow 50 to 75 feet tall. They have a life span of around 70 years.
Willow hybrid, on average and under normal
conditions, will grow six feet per year. Planted as a
hedge, screen, windbreak, or to line a road or drive, you
can expect this tree to be over 20' tall and 15' wide in
just three years.
