Holmstrup is a compact, slow growing, narrow pyramidal shaped Thuja variety with extremely dense, dark green foliage. Foliage is arranged in vertically held fernlike sprays, and has shown itself to hold excellent green color throughout the winter here at our East TN nursery. This particular arborvitae can be very useful in medium sized screens & borders, due to its slightly smaller mature size.
Holmstrup Arborvitae was introduced by A.M. Jensen from Homstrup, Denmark......hence the name 'Holmstrup'. Has performed extremely well in our nursery gardens, and is yet another excellent Thuja variety we have added to our selections. Great for shorter privacy screens, borders, etc. Requires no trimming, shaping or maintenance to keep a nice, neat appearance.
