The stink bug: A new garden pest to contend with
By Lee Gugliada/Get Growing

The Brown Marmorated Stink Bug, BMSB, having accidently been introduced to the United States in the late 1990s, is a relatively new insect to our area.
It hitched a ride in packing material from its Asian habitat and was first identified in 1998, in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The destructive insect has since spread throughout neighboring states, where it can be expected to proliferate and continue to cause damage.
