The Spokane Regional Solid Waste System contracts with Waste Management of Spokane, Inc. to process the clean green material from the Transfer Stations and the Waste to Energy Facility.
Waste Management of Spokane, Inc. hauls Spokane County's yard and garden materials to Royal Organics in Royal City, Washington. The facility is located between Ephrata and Odessa, Washington. Royal Organics mixes Spokane's yard debris with mint residue and markets the finished compost.
