Southern Crabapple Tree
Southern crabapple is a shrub or small tree with a short trunk and open crown. Height is usually about 30 feet with a trunk diameter less than one foot. They have a natural vase-like shape and need no pruning. The deep green leaves are long and slender with wavy saw-toothed edges.

In fall the leaves turn many shades of red, orange and gold. It has fragrant pink flowers in the spring and small green crabapples in fall. Its fall foliage is attractive. Small apples provide food for wildlife. The fruit is not only sought by humans but is a favorite of most wildlife. Several species of woodpeckers are attracted to Southern Crabapples.

These trees are about 2-3 feet tall. Trees will be shipped bare root with moist material around their roots.
