Single Pink Fruiting Japanese Apricot (Ume)
Ripe fruit has a red blush over orange skin. 3/4" to 1" in diameter. Attractive, showy single pink blooms from late January to Early February. Both blooms and fruit are prolific. Earliest to bloom indicating low chill hours for mild winter areas (approximately 300-400 hours). Fruit ripens mid May to Early June. Height 15-20 feet.
