Native shrub or small tree with large white lacey flower clusters in late spring or early summer.

Dark Purple berries clusters develop in summer.

Berries are reportedly good for making jelly, pies, or wine. (No, we do not have recipes.)

Fast growing.

Mature Height: 10 feet.

Full sun.

Prefers regular water. Tolerates wet soil.

Foliage: Attractive bright green odd pinnately compound.

Beautiful near pond or stream.

Wildlife value: Berries attract songbirds. Food for wildlife.
