Fast growing, upright, evergreen shrub. Deep fuchsia-red flowers with a darker red blotch bloom mid to late May. Glossy dark green leaves with wavy margins. Cold hardy and more sun tolerant than most other rhododendrons. Grows to a height of 5-8’ in sun to part shade. Excellent foundation plant, great addition to the shrub border.
