Prunus persica var. nucipersica 'Surecrop'
Popular in commercial orchards and home gardens, ‘Surecrop’ is a generous producer delicious, red-blushed nectarines which ripen in mid- to late summer. Its sweet, succulent flesh bears mild acidity and separates easily from the pit, making it ideal for both canning and fresh eating. The tasty fruit is preceded by a showy spring display of fragrant, pink flowers. A self-fertile variety, it does not require a second pollinator tree in order to bear a crop.
