Description

This popular plant boasts a flower display that usually begins in early July, continuing all summer and into the fall up to frost. Easy to grow in any soil that is not too wet. Thrives in heat. Prune back heavily in early spring. Best when used as a hedge or in groupings. 'Paeonyflorus' produces double pink flowers.

Care information

Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Feed with a general purpose fertilizer before new growth begins in spring. For a formal appearance, shear annually after flowering. Pruning time: winter.
