Beautiful evergreen or in colder climates deciduous tree is the national tree of Mexico where it is native.Can quick;y grow to 40' tall with ample water, it also can do well under dry conditions, growing slower. Will eventually grow to about 75' tall and 50' wide. Extremely graceful with its long weeping branches and soft feathery foliage. The most incredible specimens are found growing outside Oaxaca, Mexico and are known as El Arbol del Tule. The largest is considered to be over 2,000 years old and has a trunk diameter of 30.8 feet! Hardy zone 7-10, this tree makes a great lawn specimen and can also be used as a windbreak or hedgerow.
