Landscaping with Holmstrup Arborvitae

Holmstrup, a cultivated variety of American arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis), has a compact and pyramidal form that makes it a popular choice for landscaping. Holmstrup is a dwarf variety that has dense foliage that remains green all year. It is often seen planted near homes, buildings and in public parks. Holmstrup is a hardy variety known for its adaptable growth habits and amenable climate tolerance, as long as it is located in a spot that gets adequate moisture.
