Product Information

White Dome® is a hardy, strong growing hydrangea that rewards gardeners with clouds of big, dome shaped, lacy white flowers that create a truly Victorian effect. The dome shaped blooms are 6 to 10 inches in size and are held up by sturdy stems that seem to float about the plant making it a very nice shrub and display. The pure white blooms lighten up a garden and contrast wonderfully with its large deep green leaves. This plant is particularly attractive in the winter when the snow settles on top of the dried flower heads. To add winter interest to a landscape it's a great alternative to ornamental grasses. It's an easy to grow plant, is a reliable flowering shrub, and the flower color is consistent regardless of soil pH or winter temperatures. Use White Dome® hydrangea as a specimen, in woodland gardens, in the back of the perennial garden, in the shrub border, and in winter gardens. White Dome's® sturdy stems make it a durable choice for both fresh and dried arrangements. If planted in full sun, sufficient moisture is needed, and would most likely require additional watering on a hot dry summer day. If planted facing the south it should be planted in partial shade.
