A popular variety sometimes called "PeeGee"
A common American garden plant and highly valued for its vigor and bloom dependability. Grandiflora has sterile flowers that appear in July and remain on the plant until the first hard frost. The large conical shaped white flower heads turn to pink in the fall with gray-green leaves. PeeGee was sent to America from Japan in 1861 and continues to be one of the best loved varieties. The blooms can easily be used for drying.
