The Prunus persica cultivar 'Elberta' is a fast-growing peach tree that is available in standard and dwarf varieties. Standard Elberta peach trees can grow up to 20 feet tall. The dwarf variety grows 8 to 10 feet tall, making it easy to select an Elberta peach variety that fits your home landscape. Not cold hardy or drought tolerant, Elberta peach trees grow best in USDA Plant Hardiness zones 5 through 9.
