Acer crataegifolium, a deciduous tree, is spreading with arching branches and green and white streaked bark. Green leaves to 3 inches long are egg-shaped and shallowly 3 lobed with toothed edges that turns orange in the autumn. In upright racemes, pale yellow flowers bloom.
