This attractive upright tree will tolerate most difficult conditions, including exposed coastal sites and some drought. Fluffy bunches of white flowers are produced in abundance in late spring which are popular with bees and insects. This columnar ash is especially useful in small spaces or avenue plantings. Pinnate foliage is mid-green turning wine red in the autumn. A very attractive and useful tree ‘Obelisk’ will grow to 8 x 3 meters in 20 years.
