Forsythia "Spring Glory" will dazzle you with its display of bright yellow flowers, a cheery display of color that will assure you that spring is right around the corner. This cold hardy plant (USDA zone 3 and higher) grows to about 6-8 feet tall and wide, but can easily be clipped shorter. The best time to prune is when the plant is in full bloom, clipping color laden branches to bring indoors for vase arrangements. The Forsythia is deer resistant, as well as durable in seacoast plantings or used for firescaping, so one tough, easy care plant. Stunning as an accent plant in the perennial or cottage garden. Water this deciduous shrub consistently, though not picky to soil type. Full sun. Shipped potted in soil for best possible results when planted in yard or garden.
