Dwarf Yellow Elder (also known as Tecoma Yellow Star, Trumpetbush, Gold Star Esperanza) is a long-blooming flowering tree that flowers year around including winter months. Maximum flowering is in the warmer months. Yellow Elder is a small tree but can be pruned as a dense shrub. No special requirements. This is another easy blooming tree. Flowers are seen in clusters typically 4-8 inches long. Foliage is lush and evergreen.
