Leaves are deep crimson and glossy on a refined, upright and narrowly oval growth habit. Fall color ranges from crimson to bright red, orange-red, orange-yellow retaining colors up to one month. Bark is white with cinnamon tones and exfoliates. Resistant to bronze birch borer.
