A U of M mum with a brilliant bouquet of frost-tolerant flowers and its "Golden Gopher" like color, 'Sesquicentennial Sun' was selected by the University as its floral contribution celebrating 150 years of achievement for Minnesota. It produces a profuse flower display of fully double, pompon flowers up to 2" in size on uniformly mounded plants 12 - 18" high and 20 - 23" wide.
Hardy in zones 4 to 7.
