(Indian) Chestnut tree with severe leaf-spot symptoms

I am not sure which species of Aesculus this tree belongs to; but I suspect that it is A. indica. It seems to be very severely affected by lesions on the leaves. The tree is looking really quite sick now — in a much worse state than the nearby A. indica and A. x carnea. Close-ups of the lesions suggest that the pathogen is spreading through the vascular tissue.
