Van Houtteis Spiraea Spiraea x vanhouttei
"The Spirea Van Houttei's, `Spirea vanhouttei,' produces white flowers in April-May, that are borne in many one to two inch diameter umbels. The flowers are produced after the leaves. Its dull bluish green foliage color makes a wonderful backdrop for the showy flowers. This durable and familiar shrub grows best in a sunny location in any garden soil. It is a rapidly growing plant that is often used as a screen."
