SUNSHINE BLUEBEARD
If you are looking for a larger shrub that will grab your neighbor's attention in the landscape, then Sunshine Blue bluebeard is the one for your garden. Its foliage shines as a golden beacon for most of the year, adding a splash of bright color to any garden.

In late summer, amethyst blue flowers complete the sensational look. Place this shrub where you want to grab eye attention. It works best in a border with deep green foliage on either side. This helps to spotlight the gold and blue combo in late summer. It's deer resistant, drought tolerant, and small enough for a border, container, or perennial garden. It also attracts butterflies in late summer.

Caryopteris Sunshine Blue is hardy in USDA zones 5-11. It will die back to the roots in the colder areas of its range, so trim it back to the new sprouts in spring. Wherever it is growing, encourage new development by trimming. The flowers will appear on the new growth this sets in motion.
