Physocarpus - Ninebark - Coppertinaâ„¢
Botanical Name: Physocarpus opulifolius 'Mindia'
Description: A new hybrid between Dart's Gold and Diabolo that flushes an attractive copper in spring and transforms to a rich red in summer. White flowers line the gently arching branches in early summer. Adaptable to difficult situations. Withstands acidic and alkaline soils. Medium moisture, can tolerate dry conditions once established. Best if pruned immediately after blooming. Best in open areas with good air circulation to prevent foliage problems. Will benefit from a good hard pruning as a young plant. Fertilize in early spring by applying a slow release fertilizer specialized for trees and shrubs. Follow the label for recommended rate of application. Good in groupings and mass plantings plus perennial and shrub borders. Grows 6-8 feet tall 7 and 10 feet wide.

Physocarpus - Ninebark - Dart's Gold
Botanical Name: Physocarpus opulifolius
Description: A gold-leafed form of our native ninebark. This plant is low growing and excellent for mixed borders. Adaptable to most soils. Leaves mature to lime green. White flowers in the spring. Prune about a third of the branches to the ground in late winter. Grows 4-5 feet tall and 5-6 feet wide.
