Nothing beats the effect of a clump of birch trees in the landscape. The peaceful, tranquil effect of a woodland or mountain landscape is brought right to your front door. The Dura-Heat birch has foliage superior in appearance during the season with the same head turning yellow fall color. Leaves on this birch variety are closely spaced to each other resulting in a dense canopy of foliage, even on young trees. The Dura heat birch produces attractive bark at an earlier age. Fibrous roots are produced quickly and in abundance after transplanting to aid in water uptake, leading to better summertime performance. Growth to 40 to 60 feet tall or clip to desired size and shape. Keep soil damp. Hardy to USDA zone 4 and higher. Shipped potted in soil to ensure the best possible results when planted in yard or garden.
