Adams needle claims attention due to its very bold flower spikes and stiff foliage. It likes sunny locations, and can resist dry growing conditions. It gets its name from its sword shaped leaves that end in a needle like point. This picturesque plant can be used for contrast in large borders with other perennials or among shrubs.
